Happy Hunk Day.

I love black and white photos, so I picked this one. Well that and he has awesome abs. 🙂 lol

Not much got written last night. I started reading a book that has given me an idea for a new book, but I was too engrossed in the book to write the idea down. lol. It’s called The Pink Triangle: The Nazi War Against Homosexuals by Richard Plant. Very interesting reading, I have to say. I didn’t know that Germany and France were rather progressive in their views on homosexuality in the mid-to-late ninteenth century.

But Angel’s story is coming along. Got a little more written on it during the day yesterday. 🙂

Hope everyone is having a great day.

S.W…I think it might be a sign that I need to write a story about this..lol. I was watching LOGO the other night (the gay cable channel) and they had a show that talked about the Holocaust Museum in D.C. The people they talked to mentioned the Pink Triangle and how the museum is one of the few in the world that have a section focused on gays during the Holocaust. Then I found the book. So a spark of an idea was born..lol.

I’ve actually heard of that book before, though I haven’t yet been able to get my hands on it. Glad to hear it’s interesting.

I second Sherrill’s feelings on the pic. 🙂

Sherrill…I thought the pic would be a hit. lol

You’re right. Europeans have a ‘looser’ view on sex. The Nazis were vicious in their persecution of homosexuals, but the cruel thing is some of the men who survived the concertration camps and were released when the war was over…ended up being arrested by the Allies for being homosexual after the war. Talk about getting kicked when you’re down.

    Nice, T.A. Verrrry nice. 🙂

Europeans seem to have a much more relaxed view on sex than Americans do. But I shudder to think the Nazi view of them, and the Nazi “solution” to the “problem”…
