Friday the 13th
I’ve always been intrigued by the legend of Friday the 13th. So many reasons why it’s become synonymous with bad luck. The one that catches my interest the most is the story of the downfall of the Knights Templar and how on the 13th of October in 1307, King Philip of France ordered the mass arrest of the Knights Templar. There’s a story in that whole terrible situation, I’m sure, and maybe someday I’ll write something based on it. 🙂 Who knows?
Another good night of writing. The story I wrote with Carol is done and with the publisher now. Not sure how long it’ll take this particular publisher to let us know what they think, but as soon as I find anything out, I’ll let you all know.
Well, I’m off for a fun day of meetings. Woo-hoo!

I've actually never heard of the Knight's Templar (I know, I sound like a doofus) – but I'm sure going to learn about them now, things like that interest me and I love reasons to research stuff. Makes me feel like a kid again. 🙂

The Knight's Templar story is the main reason, Friday the 13th is considered bad. After that there became a lot of legends and folk stories.
It would be interesting to see a story about the Knight's Templar. The stories around them are fascinating (especially the one about the treasure!)
They were an interesting religious group, but also very annoying (in my eyes) because they had all these extremist religious rules. Personally I liked the Knight's Hospitaller better, because while they were also extremely religious, they were less so than then Templars (Who had all these degrading rules towards women).
It's always interesting to see how many people go to extremes to not have to do anything on Friday the 13th. Time for a horror movie *wicked grin*
