Another awesome Cover…

Revealing the Past will be out July 11th (though that date is subject to change). For those of you who aren’t familiar with Amber Quill/Amber Allure, they have a group of books called PAX. Usually five stories written around a center theme. They’re released on the same day and if you buy all five at the same time, you get a discount. Woot! Who can complain about that? πŸ™‚

Revealing is part of the That’s Amore PAX. There will be five stories all set in Italy. Mine happens to be set in Venice on Poveglia Island actually.

Here’s the blurb:

Geoff DuPuis is an American archaeology in search of evidence of the ancient settlement on Poveglia Island in Venice, Italy. He doesn’t care about the stories of ghosts, or the legends of the tragic events that took place on the island. He’s only interested in that one small section of time.

When he meets Dr. Enzio di Salvatore, his guide to the island, he thinks maybe he could investigate something else, like every inch of that Italian stud. Little does he know though, Enzio has a history with the spirits on the island and they demand their due.

Geoff might find out that dealing with angry spirits might end up being easier than falling in love.

So, I was wondering about something. If I were to write a YA novel, would you be interested in it? I have an idea I’m going to start working on. πŸ™‚ It’s a fantasy YA. I’d love to hear your opinions.

I hope you all have a great Hump Day.

I would certainty read a book of yours that is YA. I like your writing and have enjoyed some YA books in the past.

Boy you sticking !!!!! Just hurry up and write the thing.

Would love to see how it goes.

    Awesome cover!!!

And yeah like everyone already said, I would be interested as well in a YA story!

I'm loving the cover of your new book πŸ™‚

I also agree with everyone above—anything that has your name on it, I'll buy it & read it that day!! I think a YA novel would be perfect to tackle, particularly because there really aren't many out there right now that keep my attention. I think fantasy (or shapeshifters!!) with a dash of romance would be perfect πŸ™‚ Did I mention the shapeshifters??

I'm with Cheryl, I enjoy books that are not exactly targeted for my age. So when do we get more details?

  6. Danielle says:

I'm in the same boar as Jambrea…I will read anything you write TA. πŸ™‚

I have another author friend who writes erotic romance under a pen name and YA under her real name. I've had the opportunity to read both as a beta for her and love both of her personas and their differences and I can only imagine how awesome your YA will be! πŸ™‚

I would definitely buy a YA book of yours. To echo everyone else, I love your writing style and that alone would sell me on anything you write. In addition to that, I love children books. Everything ranging from pop-up book and Corduroy to Madeleine L'Engle and Harry Potter. Even some picture books can snag my attention if they're intriguing and intricate enough (The Invention of Hugo Cabret is an amazing blend of pictures and words that is fascinating). I like them so much because children have these amazing imaginations that grow and change as they get older, and they are capable of believing almost anything for the sake of a story. So to put if simply, if you wrote a YA story, I would instantly buy it, and more than likely love it immensely.

Love the cover btw. Happy writing!

  8. Sioux says:

I own everything you've written to date and lots of authors I like write YA so I'm sure it would be great.

  9. Patti~M says:

I do love your books and your writing style but what I mainly look for when buying a book is the storyline. So if you write a YA book and the storyline is even half as interesting as your other books I would pick it up in a heartbeat. I find it hard to believe that any book you write wouldn't be successful because your books reflect a part of you. So I say give it a try.

    Great cover by the way!

I also will buy anything with your name on it. As for YA, I have no objection and look forward to reading what you offer.

  11. Bege says:

I agree with most of others that would buy a YA book you wrote…if anything just to try it and see if its something I would like. Also I was looking at the books you have links to on your blog but you don't have "Four Gold Rings" on blog list.

  12. ElaineG says:

I agree with everyone else too! You are on my auto-buy! No questions asked, no wondering what the book is about, if it has your name, it's in my computer! You have a wonderful style TA, and I will never be disappointed. Period.

  13. Tessa C. says:

I like your style of writing, so I'd probably go for your book no matter what 'agegroup' you're aiming at.

On YA stories in general… I think it's probably more difficult to hit the right tone with one of those. I think teenagers are a lot fussier than your average person, and anything aimed at them will have to touch on issues important to them.

I wish you good luck with it and do let us know when the book will be available…

And yes, I love your covers, too.

maybe id try yours and get lucky

  15. Cinderella says:

Like all the others I would get a YA book of yours. Your writing is excellent and it isn't all about the sex cause sometimes it just doesn't happen for whatever reason, or it is implied. OH and the covers you are coming out with oohhhh man they are yummilicous. Cynthia

  16. Melissa Bradley says:

Love the new story! While I love all your stories, though, I'm afraid I would not buy YA. I have no interest in that age group. Good luck with it, though.

  17. Yvonne says:

I agree with everyone. You are ALWAYS on my to purchase list.

It will be interesting to see how you handle that age group. Will it be a romance or fantasy only?

But the BIG question is…when is it coming out. lol

I agree with the others. You're one of my all time favs and will happily buy anything you write. Thanks for sharing your gift with us!!

  20. Jen says:

1st – love the cover. I understand I'm repeating myself but . . . you have the best freaking covers out there!

2nd – I have to agree with Jambrea – I'll buy anything with the TA seal of approval on it! πŸ˜‰

I don't always have to have the hard core stuff in my reading – and when I get a hankering for it I have plenty of your books on my kindle to satisfy! lol

  21. Jambrea says:

I will buy anything you write. Okay…I might not buy your grocery list, but you know what I mean. lol

LOVE the cover! Can't wait to get it!!! Sounds awesome.
