Wet Wednesday

Okay, so the wet describes the picture, not the weather today…or at least not yet anyway. It’s cold here though. I’m thinking we’ve reverted back to spring weather instead of summer.

hmmm..what to talk about? I’m glad to see you all are enjoying Understanding the Past. Now if I can just remember to wrap up all the little sub-plots and answer all your questions by the end of the story…lol. I might need to get some notecards and write everything down on them to keep it straight.

That’s the problem with not plotting out the story. Things just happen and I have to remember to keep track and not forget about them as I write. I’ve done it before..lol. But I don’t like outlining my stories because then I begin to feel stuck within the boundaries I created for myself and while I know I can change them, I have a tendency to become trapped by the ones I’ve already thought up. It’s only when my characters decide they aren’t going to do what I want them to, that things begin to morph into a different story and a better one usually.

Well, enough babbling for now. I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.

TA, great eye candy! It is in the lower 80s here today. I'm with Melissa though, it would be nice if it stayed 70 all the time.

    Have a great day!

Love the picture! I need it today-it is in the upper 80's hmere in Annapolis.(yes I'm back to go to settlement on our office, then….back across the water.)

Don't worry TA, we'll keep you on your toes when it comes to subplots etc…

I'm not an outliner, myself so I can sympathize. 😉

As for the weather, we are having 60's in Chicago and I couldn't be happier. I want to live somewhere the temps never, ever get over 70. My friends think I'm weird because for them, the hotter, the better and I turn on the air conditioner when it hits 71.

What a WONDERFUL picture for a Wed.

I'm the same way. lol Of course…now that I'm writing longer stuff, I have an outline, but I put down ONE thing I want to talk about in the chapter. I have found this keeps me focused. 😀
