Poetry Train #78

Why do I love you?

Why do I love you?
There’s nothing special about you.
You’re average in every way.

But when you laugh,
You make me smile.

When you cry,
You make me hurt.

When you touch,
You turn me on.

When you love me,
You steal my heart.

Why do I love you?
To me you are everything
I’ve wanted.

T.A. Chase c. 2008

Sorry, no Storm scene today. My narrator decided not to talk to me..lol.

Stop by Monday Poetry Train to check out who else is has jumped on board.

Also, I’m running a contest for the month of November. It’s for members of my newsletter. (Don’t worry…if you sign up for my newsletter-the link thing is on the sidebar-you won’t be overwhelmed with emails from me. I think the most I’ve done is maybe three during a month. It depends on if I have a release or not.) To celebrate my upcoming release, Bound by Love, I’m giving away a 2009 calendar titled Studs ‘N Spurs. Hot cowboys, what more can you ask for? lol. You have until Dec. 2nd to enter and I’ll draw the name of the winner then. Oh and so you know, I’m running basically the same contest for the month of December, only I’ll be giving away a New York Firemen calendar to celebrate the release of my January book, Where the Devil Dances. 🙂

    Thanks, everyone. 🙂

I was a little upset that I didn’t get anything to add to Storm, but who knows? Maybe next week.

Don’t worry, Melissa. Those who are already signed up for my newsletter are included in the contest. You just simply need to be a member. 🙂

Hello T.A.! Love is certainly a funny thing. We can never explain why we love someone/ something but, we know that feeling resides within us and we long to share it with them. Nice job. Have a nice day.

TA, I loved your poem. I don’t read a lot of poetry, but I could “Feel” this one. It’s a keeper.

Such lovely words and so true. Love is so hard to define and yet once you start, it’s so easy. Still waiting for the poetry collection, TA. But with all your amazing stories, the wait is easier. 🙂

I receive your newsletter already. How do we enter the contest? Or did I miss something?

    Have a great Monday.
