Poetry Train #70

Take My Heart…
In the darkness
I felt his arms
Wrapped around me.
I tried not to
Need anyone,
But with every
Word that fell
From his lips,
I found myself
Falling more
In love with
Him.
In the daylight
I felt the loneliness.
I never saw him
During the day,
But with every
Touch of his hands,
I found myself
Not caring.
I knew that
In the end
He was going
To take from
Me the one thing
I could give.
He was going to
Take my heart.
I couldn’t even
Keep a part of
It for my own.

Just wanted to let everyone know…my website will be down for a couple of days. (Hopefully) I’m moving it to a new server and working on sprucing it up a little. 🙂 I’ll let everyone know when it’s back up.

Melanie,
Don’t worry. It’s just my website that’s down for a little bit. Not my blog…lol. Allergies will be up on its normal day. 🙂
No allergies for tomorrow? Oh no! Argh and argh! I need my fix of Lou and Ray!
Lovely way to start the day. Very nice poem, TA
Goodluck with computer stuff
Thanks.
Melissa,
I forgot to mention I’m moving my site to a different server, so it’ll be down for a couple of days. Sorry about that. 🙂
Hopefully, it’ll be fixed and back up soon.
Great poem TA but I had to go to your blog through a roundabout way. I had your site bookmarked and now it goes right to an apartment rental service. I googled your site and it’s your site name but the link goes to the apartment rental service. Did you change your site name at all?
Thank you for the lovely poem TA, 🙂
Happy Monday.
