Poetry Train

I watch him,
Silent and unsure.
Need
Lust
Well in me.

Does he know
What he makes me feel?
Want
Heat
Burn in me.

I don’t have
The courage to approach.
Fear
Loss
Rises in me.

He walks away
With a backward glance and smile.
Hope
Love
Builds in me.

Maybe he does know.

Remember to stop by Rhian’s blog to check out the other poems on the train.

Also, The Vanguard comes out tonight between 6 and 7. I’ll make sure there’s a working link as soon as it becomes available. 🙂

Have a great day. (I know I will)

I totally relate to this — except for the end. There was no way I’d ever get noticed…

    Awesome job, TA.

I love the ‘Fear/loss’ vibe in this stanza. An big part of sexual tension, though it’s the part that doesn’t feel so wonderful.

It is a great pic, isn’t it?

first blush of romance is always filled of possibilities and in a way those are the best times of any relationship. 🙂

Thanks. I hope you get the chapter done the way you want.

Quite a pic there, TA (yum, yum, I’m totally a butt girl)

    I love the poem.

He walks away…This stanza just hits me. That moment when you realize that just maybe your crush is interested, too, and all that possibility is there before you.

Congrats on The Vanguard. I’m going to treat myself after I finish writing this next chapter.

Yep..it comes out tonight, Gina. Sorry.

Thanks. I liked this picture..though I was trying to find a guy with hair on his chest and didn’t have a ton of time to find one. Guess that’ll give me something to do on nights that I’m bored. 🙂
