Pimping Books…

I read this book earlier in the week…instead of doing my own writing. I really enjoy Slipping the Stream. Mike Shade does a great job bringing a cyperpunk feel to the story. If you liked the Matrix movies, you’ll like this book.

Mike Shade has a few other books that I’ve read and enjoyed. I tried to see if I could find a website for him, but I didn’t. If someone else might be able to find one, just post it in the comment section here. 🙂

I was supposed to do another eight things about me since Sherrill tagged me, but I don’t have time to do it today. I’ll post it tomorrow.

Hope you all have a great Friday.

    Michelle,

I enjoyed Second Sight as well and liked how he tied that story together with the Jarhead series. 🙂

Sorry, but I have a feeling I might not be able to pimp an author you haven’t read. lol

    Elisa,

That must be way I couldn’t find it when I went looking the other night. That’s the reason I ended up going through my entire list of ebooks, trying to find it.

    Elisa,
There’s also ‘Second Sight’ by Sean Michael – that one’s about an artist whose lost his sight.

TA – loving your book pimping, but can you please stop raiding my library, and pimp ones I don’t have? LOL.

    Michelle

  4. Elisa says:

thanks TA. Hearing Beauty is not more available, so I can’t read it, but maybe Torquere will republish it. ciao, elisa

    Elisa,

Actually I did find that out the other day. Someone posted it on a group I’m a part of, but thanks. The nerve-wracking thing about it is I have to wait until October to find out if I’ve won or made it as an Honorable Mention.

The book you’re looking for is Hearing Beauty by Mike. I spent two or three hours one night going through all my ebooks looking for it. I could remember what the story was about, but I couldn’t remember the title or who wrote it at the time. lol

    Sylvie,

I thought I’d share some of the other authors I enjoy reading. 🙂 there quite a few more out there that I’ll be talking about.

I have alot of his books as well.

    Have a great night.

    Gina,

Thank you. It was hard to keep the guys off of each other long enough to get them to talk…lol.

At the moment, I don’t have any plans to write anything about Three or the other assassins, but I won’t say I’ll never write them. Who knows what might come up a month or year from now?

  8. Elisa says:

And TA, I forgot: have you seen you are in nominee for the Spectrum Awards with Here Be Dragons (http://elisa-rolle.livejournal.com/94316.html)? ciao, elisa

I have just read this book. I like it. I also like Trouble, Bloodmoon and above all The Stallion and The Rabbit. I remebered to have read about a book where one of the character is blind, but when I search it I didn’t find where to buy. ciao, elisa

Hey, I have 8 of his books… you can also suppose that I like his writing, specially Dust and Violets. But Slipping the Stream was not bad at all. After all it was this book that tempted me to read the others.

Good of you TA to pimp other authors…

Have a great friday (what’s not to like about a friday, last day of work week)

Mike has nine books up on his website (thank you aharpy). I own seven. Guess I like the guy (blush) He’s also got two running on Torquere Press’s Turn of the Screw.

Finished Stealing Life last night instead of doing the painting I was supposed to. Wonderful! I love that the sex is HOT, HOT but also that they actually talk.

Great way to end it but I was wondering, will we hear about Three and the others?

    Love your writing.

  12. T.A.Chase says:

    Aharpy,

Thanks a lot. I searched, but couldn’t find anything, so this link is definitely helpful.

We’re waiting and hoping for a release date soon on Three. Possibly next month. Keep your fingers crossed.

    Patty,

Darn it. I love Sean Michael’s stuff, but for some reason, I never remember to pimp him. Marking it down on my calander for pimpage next week. 🙂

Those Marines are awesome and hot.

  14. T.A.Chase says:

    Lisa,

Thanks alot for all those acolades. When I hear things like that from readers, it really makes me just want to sit and write all the time. Which is good for both of us. 🙂

I read this book on Torquere Presses Turn of the Screw Subscription a while back. It is a good book. I am re-reading Sean Michael’s Jarhead series right now, all very good books also.
