Pimping books….

Today, I’m pimping books by B.A. Tortuga. I love her books, especially the ones about cowboys. She has a special touch with those rugged myths. This book, Old Town New, is one of my favorites by her. Stop by Torquere Press and check it out. It’s available in ebook and print form.

Also, Amanda Young has a new book out at Loose-Id titled Man Candy. I haven’t read it yet, but I’ll be picking it up to enjoy over the weekend. It looks good.

Did some work on Tony’s story. Getting closer to the end. So the deadline of the end of the month is more realistic now. Though it might take until the middle of July for it to be ready to submit. 🙂

Hope everyone has a great Friday.

I love BA’s books. Galen and Shane from ‘Rain and Whiskey’ are some of my favourite characters.

Must pick up Man Candy as that’s one I haven’t read.

I have read some of BA Tortuga’s books. I think my preferred is Private Dances. There is also a very interesting story in the anthology Songs, Showers and Storms, the first, is really enjoyable. I have also just read Man Candy by Amanda Young. Pretty, but it has left me wanting more. It’s short and the book ends when the relationship starts…

Wow, BA’s got 36 books listed at Torquere Press. I’ve got 19 of them and maybe 3 others, plus one is on my wish list.

That’s so funny, I’m buying Man Candy for this weekend too!

Thanks TA. FYI-When I read your comment I start looking and I noticed that your book reviews on “JoyfullyReviewed” are “page not found”.

Anyway thanks for the tip and have a wonderful weekend!

    Hey Lisa,

I found my first m/m book reading reviews on Amazon from a girl who similar taste in some paranormal books. Borders list reviews and some of the sites you can buy ebooks from have a 5 star/angel rating next to them based on consumer feedback. Email me if you want, and I’ll send you her review link and if you have similar taste to what I like to read in m/m I’d be happy to share a list of books I think were good

    Lisa,

It’s fine for you to ask. Maybe some of the people stopping by who reads m/m can tell you if there are any sites/forums that focus on m/m stories.

I know some of the regular review sites review m/m stories now. Like Just Erotic Romance Review and Joyfully Reviewed. I’d suggest checking the regular romance review sites to see if you like the kind of reviews they do.

    Anyone else have suggestions?

    Yvonne,

BA has quite a few books out. I haven’t read all of them though. I find I like her cowboy ones best.

  9. Lisa C. says:

Does anyone know of web sites or forums that review m/m erotica books whether by other authors or by readers? I know many of the publishing co.s have reviews.

If it was inappropriate of me to put this request here I appoligize, I’m just tried of plotless books.

ManCandy is good. Read it a couple of days ago. I’ll have to try Tortuga and see if this will be another hit on my book budget-lol
