Happy Hunk Day.
Morning, everyone. How goes your Wednesday? Mine’s fine right now. No one in the office with me. It’s rather nice…lol.
Hmmm…what to talk about? Not much going on in my mind at the moment which shouldn’t be a big surprise. I haven’t had my caffeine for the day yet. Writing is going well. I’m happy at the word count I have for His Heart’s Home and I started a ghost story for St. Patrick’s Day that I plan on sending to one of my publishers when it’s finished. Hopefully the characters for that one keep talking to me. It shouldn’t be a problem..the ghost has a lot to say since no one’s talked to him in ten years. 🙂 (Since he became a ghost).

Good news. I finished the story that was kicking my butt. Wrote the end last night. Woo-hoo! Now I can turn my attention to the next Home book. Max and Derek have been patiently waiting. Plus I have another story I want to work on as well. I don’t think Max’s story will take me very long to write because I’m looking forward to working on it and I’ve already got 10k done on it.

It’s finally Friday. 🙂 Actually this week wasn’t too bad, but I’m going away this weekend, so I was hoping the week would go by quickly.
I do plan on doing some writing over the weekend, whenever I get a free moment. I’m getting closer and closer to finishing the story I’ve been working on for what seems like forever…lol. And I’m sure my editor would be happy that I finish it as well.

They say…
A picture is worth a thousand words….so what does this picture say to you? lol. If you can drag your eyes off it for a moment and get your brain functioning again. 🙂 I know I had problemes when I first saw it.
But now, story ideas are rolling around my head. What’s the story behind the “Trouble” tattoo on his butt? Is it a one-night stand sort of thing or have they been together for years? (though neither one of them look like they’re that old…lol) So many stories could be generated from just this one picture. I’m thrilled I found it.

Wednesday’s Hunk…
It looks like In the Nick of Time wins the day as the title for my next blog story. 🙂 Thank you, Joy, for coming up with the title and for everyone else who told me they liked. Though I do like Valerie’s suggestion that I combine the two…Unlikely Savior: In the Nick of Time. I guess I’ll have to see if I want to make it into a series or just one story. It’ll depend on if any of the other characters talk to me.
It’s a quick post today, but I hope everyone has a great Hump Day. 🙂

Did some more writing last night. Getting closer and closer to finishing. I won’t say to the end because I’ve already written the ending. I’m just filling in the middle of the story…lol.

The weekend is here finally. I’m hoping it’ll be a better one than last weekend. Maybe not so much rain would be nice. 🙂I plan on doing some writing and hanging out with C. The story I’m working on is going well. I can tell when I’m really getting into a story because I’ll start thinking about it all the time. In the shower, on the way to work…while I’m at work. 😉 And that’s a good thing because it means I won’t be wasting time staring at my screen wondering where the hell are my characters going from this point in the story…lol.

Writing is going well. I’ll be starting edits on Where the Devil Dances in the next week or so. It’s part of the Firemen series: Hearts Afire that Liquid Silver is putting out. I’ll be paired with the wonderful Bonnie Dee for January. Check out the blurbs here. I’ll probably be posting an excerpt shortly. There are several fun things about the series. There will be two stories paired each month. Some months both stories will be Molten, like Bonnie’s and mine. Some months, they’ll be Liquid like Jolie Cain’s and Jade Morrison’s. At the end of the year, all twelve covers will be put together into a calander for 2010. Who can resist twelve months of firefighters, huh? 🙂
I’ve finished edits for Bound by Love. I can’t wait for you all to meet Ren and Tyler. I got a sneek peek at the cover and it looks awesome. As soon as I’m given the okay, I’ll post it for everyone to see.

Finally Friday…
It’s the last day of the work week…yay! Though it’s overcast and probably going to end up raining before the day’s over with. Oh well. Life can’t be all blue skies and sunshine. 🙂
I did come writing done last night. I’m over the hump in this story that has been giving me fits. I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. It just might get finished yet. I’ll be celebrating like crazy when it’s finished. It’s causing a back-up with all my other stories…lol. But when the characters don’t want to talk to me, I can only do so much.
