Pimping Books
I’d pimp Emily Veinglory’s newest book…The Wicca Man: Tongue-Tied, but I haven’t read it yet…lol. So I thought I’d suggest one of her earlier books.
Dealing Straight is a historical western. I love how it deals, not only with m/m relations, but also with a character who really has nothing left to lose. Yet he figures out that the one thing he does have, he wouldn’t give up for anything…not even comfort. If you’re looking for a good historical read in a period of time you don’t see many m/m books set in, I’d say pick this one up.
While you’re at it, stop by and pick up Tiffany Aaron’s newest book, Troubled Waters. It’s about shape shifters and all sorts of interesting creatures. It’s part of Liquid Silver’s new Terran Realm series. (I’d put her cover up, but I haven’t figured out how to post more than one pic at a time…lol)

Pimping Books…
Today’s installment of Pimping Books…is Ms. Ally Blue’s Oleander House. It’s available now from Samhain Publishing.
I like this book because it’s not a romance. I’d call it more of a ‘straight’ (lol) paranormal/suspense with a possibility for romance along the way. So if you go in expecting a romance, you’re going to be disappointed. I really enjoyed it and the second book in the series, What Hides Inside was released earlier this week. But I haven’t been able to read that one yet. Too many other things happening. It’s on my list to buy as soon as I find some free time to read it. Since I know I’ll be reading it in one sitting. 🙂
As for writing, I got inspired and have been working on a short story about a basketball player. It’s only going to be around 25k and I’ve got 11k done so far. It’s been going well. I’ve also been working on Tony’s story and The Vanguard as well. 🙂

Pimping Books
I missed my pimping session last Friday. Got too busy with other things. So we’re back and today’s book is by Barbara Sheridan and Anne Cain. Yes, the wonderfully talented Anne who has done my last three covers.
Orange Moon (click on title for blurb) takes place before their story Winter Song, even though it didn’t get released until after the other one. (Does that make any sense? lol) It’s part of their Japanese rocker series. I thoroughly enjoyed both stories. Anne created the covers for both as well. Those guys are just damn beautiful.
Did some work on a bunch of different stories yesterday. Since I don’t have to work today, I’m planning on getting a lot written. Hopefully, though I am having lunch with a friend, but it shouldn’t take too much time out of the day.

Pimping Books
Hey everyone, it’s Friday which means my new feature, Pimping Books, is up. I plan on posting covers and links to books by friends or authors I love to read. It’ll always be a book I’ve read..not just one I think is neat. I’m not doing an actual review, but just giving suggestions.
Today’s book is Plain Jane by Paige Burns and Tiffany Aaron. It’s written in an interesting style… “He said, She said” Each character’s thoughts and voice is heard from. Paige wrote Jane’s pov and Tiff wrote Josh’s pov. Here’s where you can find the blurb and an excerpt. I hope if you do find the info. Intriguing and you decide to read it, let one of the ladies know. I’m sure they’d love to hear from you.
Got more done on Home to Stay. I’m at 6k and have a ton more that needs to be typed in before I can figure out how much more I need to write. I created a nice little graphic for The Vanguard to be posted every Tuesday and Thursday, so readers know that’s what the post will be. (Not that any of you wouldn’t any way.)

Friday Madness
Happy Friday, everyone. I hope you’re having a good day. (Of course, some of you will be stopping by before your day has even started or as your day is ending.)
Good news. My friend, Lisa Andel (she’s one of the authors in the Three anthology with me) has a new book out at Ellora’s Cave, Her Werewolf. (click on title for information) This is her cover. I told her I’d pimp it for her since it’s a great book…very steamy and sexy.
I’ve only got a few more words to write on Understanding Forgiveness, so I’m hoping to sneak in a few free minutes today at work to finish it up. Then my cps can tell me how terrible it is…lol. Got more done on Tony’s story as well, but still didn’t get a chance to actually type it in. Guess I’ll be doing that this weekend.
