Archive for Interviews

Monday Blahs

I’ll admit, I didn’t do anything all weekend. Played golf on Saturday and hung out with friends. Sunday was reserved for family. 🙂 Saw people I only see once a year…lol.

Since I was lazy, I don’t have a new poem or anything new to report on the writing side.

But T at International Heat has an interview with me today….about books and authors I like. Check it out.

I hope you all had a great weekend. Enjoy the eye candy. (Less fattening than all that Easter candy)

While you wait….

For all of you rapidly hitting the Refresh button to learn the newest update in the on-going saga of Travis and Eagle, there is something else you can check out.

Today is the first of three days where I hang out at DIK (Desert Island Keepers). Wave invited me. Today is a getting to know me day. Tomorrow and Saturday, I’ll be talking about heroes and music.

Don’t worry, Bitter Creek’s Redemption is on it’s way. I just have to add a little bit more to it. 🙂 So check out DIK and I’ll be back in a little while with the next installment of BCR.

Wave Interviewed Me…

Hey everyone, Wave interviewed me for her Author of the Week feature. Stop by and find out all you might want to know about me. Or ask me questions if you have a question I didn’t answer. 🙂

Hope you all have a great Wednesday. And I do think that tomorrow’s installment will be a NSFW post.

Finally Friday.

This weekend if you don’t have anything to do, stop by the Samhain Cafe and check out the first annual Sammie awards. It’ll be fun. There will be prizes and excerpts from all your favorite Samhain authors. 🙂

I can tell you one piece of good news…lol. Samhain is putting the first two books in my Love of Sports series together in one print book. Out of Bounds has been out since last April and High Line comes out Feb. 17th. The print book will be titled Playing the Game and should have a new cover combining aspects of both stories. It’ll be out Winter of 2009. That’s as specific as I can get right now. As soon as I give more details I will.

Oh, I have a new interview out right now at Joyfully Reviewed. Check it out. I had a lot of fun doing it. 🙂 I’m doing another interview with Wave in February (whose blog isn’t always safe for work..lol) and then in April, I’ll be at DIK with the ladies for a couple of days. So not only will you be getting a new book from me each month through May (at least), you’ll be getting interviews galore. 🙂

Writing is going well. I’m still plugging away at Nick of Time, though I admit yesterday, I took a break from their story to work on a story that’s be haunting me for over a year or so. I don’t want to say much about it yet, since I just started it and probably won’t be working on it for long before Nick and Gryphon push those characters to the back of the line again..lol. But while they’re talking, I want to get their stories down. It’s going to be a very emotional and touching story (at least I hope it will be) and have a mixture of historical and contemporary elements.

Hey, have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend. 🙂

New Release

First off, for all of you who are stopping by to read the next installment of Nick of Time, I’ll be posting it tomorrow. I’m postponing it for one day to celebrate the release of my tenth book, Bound by Love, which is available at Samhain right now. 🙂

Blurb:

Two cowboys fall in love. It’s as simple and as complicated as that.

Tyler Newsome is heading home to the Lazy N, tired of the rodeo and tired of always being his charismatic twin’s shadow. It’s time he gets a life of his own—and maybe the man he’s always dreamed of, too.

Ren Alston’s always been attracted to Tyler, but never made a move because of his own mental and emotional baggage. But after years spent taming his demons and gaining control in every aspect of his life, Ren sees the younger man’s return as a sign of good things to come.

But first, they have to deal with Tyler’s twin, past indiscretions and Ren’s brothers. Will these cowboys manage to build a strong foundation of trust and love? Or will their problems be too much for them?

Warning: Explicit manlove. Hot naked cowboys, caramel sauce, spanking, whipping and a new twist on the old fashioned roll in the hay.

Check it out. It’s got a little of everything in it…plus a little BDSM. Not a lot, but Ren just needs to be in control and Tyler likes giving up control. 🙂

Also, I have another review up. This one by Jambrea who is my #1 Stalk…er…Fan…lol. Stop by here and hear what she has to say.

And Jambrea’s muse, Heather, interviewed my muse, Sam, and Ren (one of the main characters in Bound by Love), so if you want to see what my muse is like, stop by and read it here.

One last thing, I’m guest blogging over at Sloane Taylor’s blog today. She’s have a huge birthday party in the month of December with lots of guest authors and she’s giving away a free ebook every day to one lucky person who comments. I’m not sure when my post will go live, but I’ll post the link to her blog and you can check it out here.

Please check all those wonderful blogs out and let me know what you think. If you read Bound by Love, don’t hesitate to tell me what you think of it as well. I can take criticism…for the most part…lol

Have a great day and I promise the next installment will be up tomorrow. 🙂

Monday Interview

Hey everyone…Hope you had a great weekend. I did, all things considered.

Stop over to Nicole’s blog and see the interview she did with me. Some great questions and she also posted excerpts from No Going Home, Here Be Dragons and Stealing Life. We’re running a contest as well. Post a comment and get in a drawing for either one of my books…or a book of your choice from either Loose-Id or Liquid Silver.

Didn’t get much writing done over the weekend. Got caught up in some other stuff.

Oh Yvonne, Magpie & Snake is an urban fantasy I started last year sometime. I took a look at it the other day and got inspired to write some more on it. It’s a lot of fun to work on because Magpie is quite an interesting character.

Well, I hope everyone has a great Monday and remember to stop by Nicole’s blog to say hi.
