Theme Songs
One of my readers asked me about the music I listen to as I’m writing or even if I listen to music at all. The answer is yes and all kinds. I don’t usually have a specific playlist for each book. What I have are theme songs for them. One or two songs that I play that helps me capture the mood of the story or what I’m trying to say. Sometimes, the song might not seem to have anything to do with the story, but there is a line or two that fits. I thought I’d give you the songs that I’ve decided could be used as theme songs for each of my books (except for the anthology stories…lol)Here we go:
No Going Home: “Lonely No More”- Rob Thomas
“Soft Place to Fall”- Chris LeDoux
Here Be Dragons: “The Storm”- Blackmore’s Night
“Just For”- Nickleback
Angel’s Evolution: “Whisper of Angels”- Amici Forever
“Waiting for You”- Blackmore’s Night
Stealing Life: “Freaks in Love”- Elton John
“Lie to Me”- Jonny Lang

Where the Devil Dances: “You Had Me From Hello”- Kenny Chesney
“Falling Slowly”- Glen Hansard
High Line: “I Don’t Want to Fall in Love”- Chris Issak
“Not Ready to Make Nice”- Dixie Chicks
Ghost of a Chance: “Bring Me to Life”- Evanescene
“This Time”- Jonathan Rhys Meyers
Allergies: “First Time”- Lifehouse

Interesting play list you got there. I’ll have to check out some of the artists I’m not familiar with. I love listening to music when I write. I don’t have theme songs for my stories though. What a cool idea.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks for sharing.
I will have to look up some of the groups.
It will keep busy for a while.
Have a great weekend

You’re right, Jambrea. I did forget Tabloid Star.
Hmm…I guess Rockstar-Nickleback would be one of the theme songs for that story. I’ll have to think about the second song.
Okay…you forgot Tabloid Star. 😀
I love this list and I can see those songs fiting each of your stories! Very cool.
