Wishing for a Home is out now…
Wishing for a Home is available now at Total e-Bound, if you didn’t get it when it was available before. I did add some to it, but I don’t think there’s a significant amount that anyone would notice. ๐ You can check it out at Total e-Bound here.
I finished Sharp Dressed Man last week, and submitted it to MLR Press. As soon as I get a release date for it, I’ll let you know. ๐
I’ve been sick, so after I finished SDM, I haven’t done much, though I did start a new story at 1 am..lol. My mind wouldn’t let me turn it off, and I wrote the first chapter and part of the second before I forced myself to go back to bed.
I’ll be working on King, Remove the Space Between Us (which is the new title for my Billionaire story), From Yesterday, and the story I started the other night (which doesn’t have a title yet) this week. Hopefully, one or two will be finished by the end of the week. ๐
Oh, and I registered for GayRomLit. So I’ll be seeing everyone in Atlanta in October. ๐
It’s raining here, so it’s a good reason to stay inside, curl up on the couch and type away on some stories. ๐
Have a great Monday, everyone.
Sorry…have a ton of edits
Hey everyone, I’m sure you’re wondering where the next installment for the blog story is. Well, unfortunately, I didn’t get to it last night. I have a bunch of edits to do on Stealing Life, Home Sweet Home, and finishing up edits on Sticky Wicket. I’m going to try and get them done today, then hopefully I can do the installment. If not, it might not be until Thursday and Friday that you get the next two installments. ๐ Sorry.
Also, for Erika S. and anyone else who was wondering, the only one of the first three Home books that has been added to is Wishing for a Home. I had to add about 5-6k to get it long enough to go into print like the other ones. I’m not sure if that’s enough of a difference to be able to tell when you read the new version. I understand anyone who is on a budget for books, so I guess I’d say save your money for Leaving Home and Home Sweet Home. Then if you get a little extra cash, maybe pick up Wishing. ๐
I hope you all have a great day while I spend mine in editing mode.
Monday again…
Check out what I saw from my kitchen in my backyard….not really. And not that any of you really thought there’d be penguins in my backyard. Though that would have been totally awesome…lol. It did snow last night though, and I’m not very happy about it. I’m hoping the roads are good, so I can go up and visit my mom today. Didn’t get up there yesterday because I had a headache.
Okay…to update you on my writing. Home Sweet Home is going well. Not as far along as I’d like, but still I’m sure I can get it done by the end of the month. ๐ The Occasional Prostitute (my contribution to the 2013 GRL antho) is coming along as well.
Also, Devon Rhodes and I have started our book. We’re writing a series of six stories about men and international sports. So the sports aren’t going to be your usual basketball, baseball, or anything like that. A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood is the first in the series, and it’s about cricket and is set in India. Hopefully when it comes out, you’ll all love it. ๐
Plus Ninja Cupcakes is out for general release at Total e-Bound, and Home of his Own is up for VIP download. If anyone is interested in them, or for some reason, doesn’t have them yet. Wishing for a Home has hit the coming soon page at TeB and No Going Home is available in print starting today.
Oh…and my marvelous editor at MLR Press, Kris Jacen, has an interview at Top2Bottom Review. Please take a minute to stop by and read it. She talks about how busy an editor’s life really is. In my opinion, editors have the tough job out there. At times, I think writing is hard, but really I’m just putting ย down on ‘paper’ the daydreams in my head. Kris has to make sure those daydreams make sense. ๐
Almost forgot the link. Click here.
Well, I have a lot of work to do…and not enough hours in the day to do it. I hope you all have an awesome Monday.
Wishing for a Home cover…
Here’s the new cover for Wishing for a Home. ๐ I think all of the new covers are great. Definitely know they belong together, don’t you? I’ll have to go and check to see when it’ll be out.
I plan on finishing The Whore of New Slum today, and filling out the forms before sending it in. I’ve already started Leaving Home, Peter’s story. That one will be done by the end of Dec. along with at least one short story. (keeping my fingers crossed on that)
I hope you all have a great Monday. ๐
Holy Moly…
It’s Thanksgiving all ready? Where the heck has the time gone? I better get a move-on with my writing…lol
This is a quick little post. I have edits on Wishing for a Home to get done today, plus more work on The Whore of New Slum.
Oh remember, tomorrow will be a guest blogger, Amber Kell, is doing a blog tour for her birthday month…and she’s stopping by tomorrow. The next installment for the blog story will be on Wednesday…and yes, there will be one on Thursday. ๐
Hope you have a great Monday.
The Subtlety of Understanding is out
The Subtlety of Understanding has been re-released by MLR Press today. It’s a combination of Understanding Forgiveness and Understanding the Past. Also, it’ll be out in print in two week or so. Yay!
Now that they are at a different publisher, I’m planning on writing more in the series. There were a few couples whose stories were left unresolved, so their stories will be added to my schedule. ๐
And for those who are wondering about the Home series, don’t worry. They will be re-released as well, starting in October of this year. And the last two Home books will be out in Feb. and Mar. of next year. The awesome news about that is all the Home books will be in print as well. ๐ Just so you know, there won’t be anything new in No Going Home. Home of his Own won’t have the little short story at the end, but it’ll be released as a free book later on. Wishing for a Home has been added to, so it’s now long enough to go into print.
I hope you all have a great day and a wonderful weekend.
Last Monday in February
Since it’s so close to the end of the month, I thought I’d let you all know what my news is. If you’ve gone to ARe, or really any of the 3rd party sellers-or to Liquid Silver Books website to look for any of my books published by them, you won’t find them. After four great years being published with them and working with them, I decided to take the rights back to all my books. The only two left with LSB at the moment are Where the Devil Dances, and Two for One. Because both of those are published with other authors, I had to wait the full 90 days before I could get those back. Which is fine with me.
Again, I want to emphasize that my decision had nothing to do with Liquid Silver Books. They’re great people, and I loved working with them. I just decided it was time to move my books somewhere else. The purpose behind it is to consolidate my publishers and make it a little less of a search for you, the readers, to find my books. If I have them at three or four publishers instead of six or seven, it’d be quicker…lol.
And the good news is Total e-Bound has decided to pick up the Home series and Stealing Life so far. The other books are under review with them. ๐ ย So at the moment, I have release dates for them, barring any unforeseen problem. ย No Going Home will be re-released Oct. 15th, Home of His Own-Dec. 31st. Wishing for a Home-Jan 28th. ย Also, I have release dates for the last two books in the series, Leaving Home will be out Feb. 25th and Home Sweet Home will be out March 25th. Stealing Life will be out April 22nd. The other news is all of the Home books will be released in print as well. I added more to Wishing to get it up to the right word count for print. So that’s awesome news.
Now I know you’re all probably grumbling about having to wait until next year for the last two books in the series, but at least you have actual dates to mark on your calendar to look forward to. ๐ There are six more LSB books that TeB will be taking a look at to see if they want them or not. If not, I do have other options to publishing them, so they will be re-released at some point.
I did a pre-release schedule from Total e-Bound that goes through April of 2013. That makes me happy, and it’s a schedule I can keep without pulling my hair out…lol. I finished From Slavery to Freedom on Friday, and sent it off to my beta reader. Once she’s done, and tells me everything I need to fix, I’ll get it in to my editor at TeB. FStF is scheduled to be released on July 31st. Woot! I’m working on The Deepest Cut at the moment, trying to get it finished as well. We’ll see how far I can get on that before I have to start the second book in The Beasor Chronicles trilogy.
There are plans to take back some other books back from another publisher of mine, but until it actually happens, I’m keeping as silent as I can about that. ๐ Again, I’m taking my rights back for no other reason than it’s time to move on. It’s been fun working with all my different publishers. Simply time to gather my little ducklings into fewer baskets.
I hope you all have a great day.
Wishing for the a Home available tonight…

Derek St. Martin is Nashvilleโs hottest country singer. For eight years, fame and fortune have come his way, but heโs not happy. In fact, heโs on the edge of a nervous breakdown or checking into a drug rehab center. Hiding his sexual preferences is driving him to resort to numbing the pain. When his step-brother suggests he should go on vacation, Derek jumps at the chance to relax and get his head on straight.
Max Furlo isnโt happy. His bosses were leaving him in charge of some singer while he had other more important things to take care of. Seeing Derek St. Martin for the first time hits Max hard and, suddenly, heโs considering a summer fling.
Both men know that a relationship can never be for them. Derekโs career wouldnโt handle the news and Max canโt live a lie. Yet when a summer fling becomes love, who will be willing to risk it all for a chance at forever?
I hope you all have a great Monday.
Wishing for a Home- release date
For all of those who haven’t heard, I got a release date for Wishing for a Home. It’ll be out April 12th after 7 pm. Liquid Silver Books releases their books at night. ๐ So I wonder how many of you will be staying up all night to read it…lol.
I’ve been sick the last couple of days, but I’m feeling better. Just fighting a stupid cough now, which I’ve been told (by people who have been sick like me) that the cough will hang around a while. Yay! How fun…lol.
Didn’t do much writing over the weekend. Mostly, I tried to rest and stuff, but I’ll be getting back into the swing of things today.
I hope you all have a wonderful Monday.
