Archive for Shades of Dreams

Wicked Wednesday

Morning, everyone. This picture makes me wish I’d stayed in bed…lol. 😀

Someone asked about seeing Stephan’s picture…well, you’ll be getting that next week on the 19th…which happens to be the last post for Shades of Dreams. What you’ll have gotten on the blog is basically the first two chapters of the story. And yes, they are in Rocky’s p.o.v., but don’t worry. Stephan talks as well, so you’ll get to know both of them.

As for a happy story, I have one I started a while ago for a publisher’s submission call, but I ended up not having time to finish it. It’s about a technology-challenged guy and the geek he falls in love with. I’m going to pull it out, dust it off, and see if it’ll speak to me. I’ll see about writing up a blurb for you all to check out as well. At some point in the near future. 🙂

I hope you all have a great day.

It’s done….

Not Shades of Dreams….lol. But my YA, I Call Death Dad, is finished. I sent it to a CP to look over and then it’ll be on to the publisher. Woot!

Now I’ll be working on a couple different stories until one really catches my attention. One is Dreams…which I’ve decided to pull…though what will happen is there will be installments up until the 19th. I already have those written and scheduled. I just don’t want to take the time to pull them down. So, you’ll still be getting Rocky and Stephan for a couple more weeks. I plan on working on their story to finish it up and sub it. I also have two stories I need to finish by Dec. 1 for Amber Allure. I’ll be writing on them as well. We’ll see how well that goes…lol.

Thank you for letting me know what you think. It always helps to get a second opinion. Now I have to figure out the next blog story…or at least get two blurbs ready for you to pick one. 🙂

I hope you have a great Monday.

Friday at last….

Nothing great or exciting to report at the moment. Just trying to finish up a story and working on some other ones. But hey, at least it’s Friday…lol. Doesn’t this guy have a great smile?

Oh…and I wanted to take a little survey. If I were to finish Shades of Dreams early…like before I actually posted all the installments…would you guys have a problem waiting until the full book came out to find out everything? Or would you prefer for me to keep doing it this way, finish the blog version…and then sub it to a publisher?

I haven’t made any decisions yet. I’m 13k into the story right now…and will be working on it once my other book is done. I just thought I’d see what you’d like before I made any decisions.

Hope you have an awesome Friday and a wonderful weekend.

Time to Choose

okay…so I’m a sucker for two good-looking men who look like they’re having fun together…lol.

Anyway, while you might like the eye candy, I’m sure you’re here to read the blurbs and vote for my newest blog story. Without further ado, here are the blurbs:

#1: Wolf’s Survival

Fellow ranchers consider Jared Tasker a lone wolf. A man who goes his own way and who stands alone. They’ll never know how close to the truth they are. His pack slaughtered by the ancestors of those very ranchers, Jared’s learned to trust no one and accept his solitary life.

Oliver Wingate loves and respects wolves. As a conservationist, he believes they should be re-introduced into their once natural habitat. He meets resistance from all the ranchers who feel the wolves will prey on their herds.

When Olive runs afoul of some of the locals, it’s up to Jared to ensure the young idealistic man doesn’t lose his life in a battle for the wolf’s survival.

#2: Shades of Dreams

Stephan Colby is on top of the world. He’s lead singer of one of the hottest new rock bands. His best friend is in the band as well. In addition, Stephan’s in love. Yet Fate has a way of kicking a man in the teeth and when Stephan’s world crashes around him, he turns to his Rock, the one who has always been there for him.

Rocky Sanicily has always had Stephan’s back. They’ve been through a lot together. But when Stephan loses the most important thing in his world, Rocky must do everything in his power to keep Stephan from giving up.

Just list the number of the blurb you’d like to see me write as my blog story and by next Monday, I’ll let you all know which one it’ll be. Oh and if you haven’t had a chance to catch the last couple of installments of Bastet, please do so soon. I plan on taking the links down and deleting the story from my blog history by Thursday. 🙂

Have a great Tuesday, everyone.
